The Starjewel

After receiving the centaur’s consent to get down and dirty, Alexandra was strategizing with Marie-Delphine as to just how she was going to suck Larvin off without dislocating her jaw, when the sound of a commotion erupted at the edge of the stable lot.

“Stop, thief!” someone shouted, and suddenly a cohort of black-uniformed constables were flooding the far edge of the yard. They waved their truncheons about and kicked up a row, chasing a slender form dressed in black which darted between the multitude of conveyances parked in the stable-lot.

Whoever it was that the constables were after, they were fast and agile. Alexandra watched as the figure dodged around a pair of startled onlookers, then slid underneath the legs of a horse without missing a beat. The figure threw something, and a loud bang rang out, followed by a bright flash and a puff of smoke.

The smoke bomb was a nice touch, Alexandra thought as she watched the constables curse and wave away the acrid vapor left in the dark-clad figure’s wake.

In the face of trouble, the crowd that had gathered to watch the two women make sloppy messes out of themselves dispersed like a bad smell in strong wind. The girls were left standing naked and exposed next to Esvele and Ryeland as the stable-yard erupted into chaos.

Even completely nude Alexandra didn’t feel anything close to approaching shame, but the exceedingly guilty expressions on the two men’s faces were downright hilarious. She giggled at the sight of them, but felt a tug on her arm and turned to see Marie-Delphine wearing a panicked look.

“Alex,” she hissed, “we’ve got to get out of here!”

Alexandra raised an eyebrow. “Don’t you let a little commotion scare you off, MD. The Watch is after that thief, they don’t give a shit about us. C’mon, I thought we were just about to blow a horse?”

“Aw for the love of the Gods,” Larvin gave an exasperated whinny, “I’m a fucking centaur. It’s not that hard to tell the difference.”

Both women ignored the grumblings of the half-man, half-horse. “There are laws against public indecency in Yvlynes,” Marie-Delphine replied.

The mage shot a worried glance towards the constables. They were still running through the stable-lot after the thief, shouting and cursing as whoever it was continued to evade them. Unfortunately, they also appeared to be heading in the general direction of Alexandra and Marie-Delphine.

“I cannot go to prison,” Marie-Delphine insisted. “No way. Noble adventurer’s don’t have rap sheets-”

“Heh, I think you might be surprised,” Alexandra started to say, but the half-elf spoke right over her.

“-and worse, my mom would absolutely murder me if she found out that I’d spent the night in jail. Oh, by the Spiderqueen’s quivering thorax, can you imagine?” Marie-Delphine shuddered, clearly actively engaged in the process of doing just that.

The shouting was growing louder as the police and their quarry drew closer, who tossed another smoke bomb. Alexandra and Marie-Delphine exchanged a look.

“Ok fine, I admit that this doesn’t look super good for us,” Alexandra admitted, gesturing at their cum-splattered nudity.
